Regarding Avigdor Lieberman joining the government, it appears that Lieberman has one great advantage and one significant drawback. The advantage is that he says what he thinks while the drawback is that he rarely thinks. For example, the biggest achievement of Lieberman's power move is the establishment of a special governmental committee led by Amir Peretz. The sole purpose of this committee is to channel money to Israeli Arabs (as compensation) in exchange for the Labor party allowing Lieberman into the coalition government.
