Boycott the British

The British embassy in Ramat Gan recently held a reception in which Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria were invited to attend. Crispin Blunt, a British parliamentarian known for anti-Israel views, then challenged the British Foreign Office by asking why these illegal settlers were invited to the embassy.

The foreign minister then instructed Tom Philips (the British ambassador to Israel) not to invite settlers in the future.

Herut chairman Michael Kleiner said on Israeli television that the British are apparently not aware that their mandate over Palestine is long over and the ambassador is not the high commissioner. Boycotting Israeli citizens just because they live in the Jewish heartland should be met by an Israeli boycott against receptions at the British embassy.

Kleiner further called on every decent Israeli to stop attending receptions at the British embassy until the British revoke this discriminatory policy. The only locals attending functions at the British embassy should be Arabs and Jews hostile to the Jewish state.
